It is a guide range based on the surface, area, condition, and access you described. The real price depends on a site visit — water source, fall risk, delicate surroundings, and the actual state of the surface. Use this number to plan, not to expect.

Why a price band instead of one number?

Honest estimates have a range because real jobs have variables. A single number would be a lie. The low end assumes the job is exactly as described and access is straightforward. The high end accounts for what we usually find on site.

How do I measure my driveway or patio?

Length × width gives you square metres. For irregular shapes, break it into rectangles, measure each, and add them. Or just enter your best estimate of the total area in m². Most home driveways are 30-60 m², most rear patios are 15-40 m².

What is the difference between sealing and not sealing?

Sealing protects the surface after cleaning and slows down moss/weed regrowth — usually adds 18-24 months between cleans. Not sealing is fine if you accept that nature comes back faster. Sealing makes sense for block paving and patio slabs, less critical for tarmac.
