Conflict of Interest Policy

Conflict of Interest Policy

How NOXEB identifies and handles conflicts of interest to protect the integrity of client engagements.

Conflict of Interest PolicyLast reviewed: 2026-04-01

The principle

NOXEB works for the client it is engaged with, without reservation. No financial relationship, referral arrangement, or commercial interest will be allowed to influence the advice given or the systems built.

What constitutes a conflict

A conflict of interest arises when NOXEB has a financial or personal interest in an outcome that could influence — or appear to influence — the work delivered to a client.

Examples include: recommending a tool or supplier from which NOXEB receives a referral fee; holding an interest in a business that competes with a client; or advising two clients in direct competition on the same problem at the same time.

How NOXEB handles conflicts

Disclosure first. If a potential conflict is identified, NOXEB discloses it to the client before the engagement begins, or as soon as it becomes apparent. The client then decides how to proceed.

No undisclosed referral fees. NOXEB does not accept referral fees or commission arrangements from tool vendors or third-party suppliers unless this is disclosed in writing to the client before a recommendation is made.

Competing clients. NOXEB will not take on an engagement that places a client in direct competition with an existing client on the same operational problem without the knowledge and agreement of both.

Reporting

If a client believes a conflict of interest exists that has not been disclosed, they are invited to raise it directly. NOXEB will respond in writing within five working days.
